0 - 5 second Delay Timer for Automatic Hand Sanitizer Application

This is a Delay Timer module for making Automatic Hand sanitizer. This module works from 8 volt to 24 volts and can be used to control Pumps and solenoid valves from 8 - 24 volts. Three pin relimate connector is provided for connecting digital proximity sensor as per your requirement. You can use both npn as well as pnp proximity sensor.

Jumper selection is provided to select between providing 5 volts or Vin to the proximity sensor. So suppose you use 12 volt DC power supply you can connect either 12 volts IR proximity sensor or a 5 volts IT proximity sensor like E18-D80. Using a 12 volts DC supply you can connect a 12 volts pump like R385 or 12 volt solenoid. A power Transistor is used to drive the load.

An onboard multiturn potentiometer is provided for adjusting the time for which the pump/solenoid should be turned ON. The timing can be adjusted from 0 to 5 seconds. 

Working of Delay Timer for Automatic Hand Sanitizer Application

Connect IR proximity sensor and load (pump/solenoid) when a user places his hand near the IR proximity sensor the sensor will send digital sensor to our delay timer module. The module will turn on the load for the set time once the set time is over the load will be switched off even after the hand is still there. Thus limiting the amount of sanitizer that needs to be dispensed.
