The TIP105 is a silicon Epitaxial-Base PNP transistor in monolithic Darlington configuration mounted in TO-220 plastic package intented for use in power linear and switching applications. It consists of two NPN transistors connected in a Darlington configuration, which provides very high current gain, making it ideal for driving heavy loads like motors, relays, and lamps.

• High Current Gain: The TIP105 has a very high DC current gain, making it suitable for switching and amplification purposes.
  

• High Collector-Emitter Voltage: It can handle a collector-emitter voltage (Vce) of up to 60V.
  

• High Current Capability: The TIP105 can handle a continuous collector current (Ic) of up to 8A, with a peak of 15A.
  

• Low Saturation Voltage: It has a low saturation voltage (Vce(sat)), making it efficient in switching applications.
  

• Base-Emitter Voltage: The base-emitter voltage (Vbe) is typically around 2.0V at 4.0A collector current.
  

• Complementary PNP Transistor: The TIP105 is often paired with the TIP106 PNP transistors in various push-pull or complementary output stages.
